Chucklefish Studios is working with indie developer Deapan Games and artist Gaziter to produce the upcoming game Wildfrost, a deck-building, roguelike adventure game that is set to launch on both PC and Nintendo Switch in a few weeks on April 12th.
WIldfrost will feature cute companions and powerful elemental items that players can use to fight their way through the frosty mountains to save the village of Snowdwell. Players must use their determination, strategy, and deck-building skills to reach the Sun Temple and banish the Wildfrost for good.
Throughout WIldfrost, players will rescue and recruit frozen companions, discover lost treasures, purchase charms to power up, and spend their hard-earned cash with traveling merchants. The decisions made in each run of WIldfrost will help players craft a powerful deck, unique to each playthrough. As a roguelike, players will be able to return to Snowdwell to rebuild the town, unlock more cards, and encounter new challenges and events for an endlessly replayable adventure. Wildfrost also features the option of a daily challenge and runs for endless replayability.
Wildfrost will release on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on April 12th.
