Rumor: LITTLE NIGHTMARES Is Adding A New Playable Character

The latest trailer for Little Nightmares that was released by Tarsier Studios and Bandai Namco, entitled the Accolades trailer, shows off an interesting aspect at the end. You see Six, the original main character, walk up to a podium-like structure and hit a button, revealing an opening that shows a new character landing on a platform - much like how it looks when you begin a new area after completing the last!

This could entail so many different things, from an update to include side puzzles and situations that call for another character then Six to a possible cooperative mode! The possibilities are rather vast and no matter what they give us now, there is no saying whether or not they will give us even more in the future.

However, to talk about what they are hinting at and my thesis on it would be that they are going to provide a secondary (silent) story for players to make their way through and possibly learn some of the background to why there are such tiny people on the ship and why the gigantic, fat what-you-think-of-a-typical-cruise-ship-passenger people are constantly trying to grab and eat you; much like the Left Behind DLC from The Last of Us.

No matter what it is, I am looking forward to it and can't wait to try it out! I just hope it will end up being free DLC and not the pay-to-play stuff that most developers have been feeding the game stores these days. I don't know if you saw my review on Little Nightmares, but if the DLC is even half as good, it will be worth getting for sure!

Leave a comment and tell us, what do you think they plan to bring us?
