While I have been playing through the new season events on Sea of Thieves since they started at the beginning of this year, I have to say that Rare and Xbox Game Studios made quite the surprising reveal for Season 3! In partnership with Disney, all pirates will have the opportunity to sail with Captain Jack Sparrow from the Pirates of the Caribbean.
As all the seasons have been, the season three update will be free to all players and starts as early as June 22nd! This new adventure takes place over five Tall Tales charting a new threat to the pirate way of life from beyond the horizon. Face off against Davy Jones and his cursed crew on this truly epic quest to protect the Sea of Thieves.
Officially named Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life, the game is about to undergo a major shift. Skeletons and sharks are no longer your main concern as swarming Sirens, darting Phantoms, and brutish Ocean Crawlers surge across the seas.
