Holiday 2020 just keeps getting better and better! Following the reveal of the next-generation Xbox at the Game Awards, we were given the announcement trailer for Ninja Theory’s Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II. The announcements go hand in hand, as the trailer for Hellblade II was shot entirely “in engine” on the Xbox Series X. I’m sure I don’t just speak for myself when I say that the visuals in the trailer absolutely blew me away, and sent chills down my spine.

The trailer does not give us much to go off of, other than that the game will look absolutely stunning. I’m not sure where the game takes place in correlation with the previous title, as the ending didn’t really offer much hope for a sequel. I am excited to see where Ninja Theory will take the game.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II will launch sometime during Holiday 2020. Most likely as a launch title for the Series X, alongside Halo: Infinite.
