SOMETHING COOL: Monoprice's Pure Outdoor Yard Games

Cool Samples Provided by Monoprice

Playing video games is definitely my favorite way to unwind over the weekend. You have the comfy couch, A/C, and the ability to just chill out. But sometimes it can actually get a bit old and I find myself feeling the need to go outside and touch some grass. That’s where Monoprice has us covered. With their Pure Outdoor line of yard games, Monoprice offers some fun and affordable games that’ll get you off of the couch and into the sun. Some of what they offer are classic outdoor games and others are super-sized versions of some indoor games you may recall.

Giant 4-in-a-Row Game - $69.99

Ever wanted a giant version of Connect 4? The Giant 4-in-a-Row game is just that! measuring 2 feet tall and 3 feet wide, this is the ultimate adult version of the classic table-top children’s game. It’s made of 100% wood and definitely looks pretty sweet. The discs that slide in are a great size and it’s very easy to just drop them in. It’s also super easy to take apart and store in its included carrying bag to ensure you’re able to take it wherever you want.

Hook and Ring Toss Game - $19.99

A really interesting game that I personally haven’t seen; the Hook and Ring Toss Game is a hybrid between typical ring toss and darts. It’s extremely easy to set up as you just attach its hook to a nail/screw, attach its twist-in hooks accordingly, and get tossin’! The game also includes 12 rubber rings which offer even more difficulty as they can spring right off of the hooks. I really liked playing this game because while it’s similar to darts, you don’t have to worry about the sharp darts themselves if you’re playing this with children.

Size Player Croquet Set - $39.99

A crowd favorite simply for the fact that so many players can play at once is the Six Player Croquet Set. You have 6 differently colored mallets with matching balls, 10 metal wickets, and 2 finishing pegs. It has everything that you would need to get the family competitive spirit going! As with Monoprice’s other products, the game is incredibly easy to set up. The mallets and balls are vibrantly colored so you won’t have to worry about losing them in a bush or anything like that. All of the pieces are really sturdy as well. The mallets’ sticks twist into the head and I never had issues with them coming undone.
