The sandbox survival game that has been on early access via Steam is finally coming out with an official launch and they are bringing their game to consoles as well! The Long Dark by Hinterland has put up a trailer called Making It Right that shows a story mode being introduced and a launch date for August 1st on Steam, PS4, and XB1! Check it out:
Unsure how long the story mode will be in full once complete, we will be starting with Season One: Wintermute and it will feature the first two episodes to the story behind this survival title that originally started back in 2014.
The only question that remains at this point is, what platform should you get it on? The multiplayer will still be an option, of course, so make sure to prepare to hold up with friends in between season launches!
