Rainbow Six was a different kind of game when it was first introduced on PC back in 1998. Instead of being just another shooter competing with the likes of Half-Life, Rainbow Six brought its own spin to the shooter genre, tactical planning. Every aspect of gameplay revolved around tactics and planning. You could choose your agents, equipment then plan out attack strategies. And it worked so well that the tactical shooter genre most of us know and love today was formed! It didn't take long for this awesome game to make the leap to consoles and in today's episode of Quick Compare, I take a look at the 2 best console versions of the game around N64 and Dreamcast. Yes I know there is a PS1 version but it sucks ok! yikes... Anyways both versions of the game are based on the PC original with different strengths and weaknesses. Which version is the best? Watch the video to find out!
