Bandai Namco has had no shortage of reveals for Tekken 8 and now that the game’s release date is right around the corner they have given us the opening movie to watch and the DLC schedule for Season 1 along with the first DLC reveal.

With 32 characters on the roster to start this is the most epic roster we’ve seen yet from a Tekken game. A lot of the characters available are returning characters with a few new, but if you’re curious about any of them you can check out the Bandai Namco YouTube channel where they have reveal videos for them.

With an already stacked roster they’re going to be adding on DLC characters, 4 per season. With season one they will be adding one character quarterly, so expect one character in the Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. If you watch the movie below and stick it out until the end, they reveal the first DLC character coming in the Spring is the classic Eddie Gordo, who happens to be one of my favorite Tekken characters.

Tekken 8 is coming soon and will be available January 26th for PC via Steam, and consoles, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
