Just a day after The Division announced they would be "permabanning" cheaters if they were caught on game to protect the community, we learn there isn't much of a community left in some circles. Githyp reports the game, which launched with 2.1 million active players, currently sits at 143,000 on Steam. Considering this only accounts for the PC crowd, I'm sure there still are a considerable bulk of people playing on the console platforms.
One has to wonder what this means for a sequel. Honestly, I played the beta and enjoyed it, but then shirked away from a full purchase after hearing several complaints week after week so I'm out for a sequel even if there is one coming...what about you?
