I have been looking for a way to play more TurboGrafx-16 and PC-Engine games since the limited number of titles that released on the Wii Virtual Console. I have never owned a TurboGrafx-16 and the increasing prices are a turn-off. When Konami announced the TurboGrafx-16 mini I was extremely happy, a cheaper way to get more TG-16 games is never a bad thing! No matter what would be announced for the system chances are I have never played it, which is an exciting proposition. Today, Konami finally revealed all of the games that would be included in the upcoming mini console. The TurboGrafx-16 mini will come pre-loaded with 24 games released in America and as an added bonus it will also include 26 PC-Engine titles! Check out the launch trailer and full list of titles below.

That is a pretty awesome list of games without a doubt! Seriously, Snatcher being easily available on a platform is a very exciting prospect! Sadly it will only be in Japanese, so for those of us who can’t read or understand it it will be practically impossible to play. The TurboGrafx-16 mini will be available to pre-order beginning July 15 for a price of $99 and will release on March 19, 2020. Considering that some of the included games for the system cost the asking price alone I can’t wait to get my hands on the TG-16 mini!
For anyone interested in the regional variations of the hardware, the Japanese market will be getting the PC-Engine mine while Europe will be getting the PC Engine Core Grafx mini. Each version of the hardware will be getting the same games included which is nice for anyone who wants a specific model over another!
What do you all think of the game line-up for the TruboGrafx-16 mini?
