This October, Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort are set to bring the magic of Wicked to life with all-new immersive experiences and exclusive merchandise, inspired by the highly-anticipated Wicked film hitting theaters on November 22. These enchanting experiences will allow guests to step into the fantastical world of Oz, offering unique retail and dining opportunities at both locations.
At Universal Orlando Resort, Wicked: The Experience will take over the former UNIVRS store near the park entrance, transporting visitors down the iconic yellow brick road and through beloved Wicked locales like Shiz University and the Emerald City. Fanciful costumes and props from the film will be displayed as guests immerse themselves in scenic recreations of the movie’s most memorable moments.
Meanwhile, at Universal Studios Hollywood, the park’s Feature Presentation store and the UNIVRS store at Universal CityWalk will both be transformed into immersive Wicked-themed retail spaces. Fans will have the chance to view exclusive film props and, once the movie debuts, see costumes displayed at the Universal Cinema at CityWalk. A special Wicked photo op within the theme park will also be available.
Both Universal locations will offer limited-time themed dining experiences at fan-favorite spots like Voodoo Doughnut and The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen. Guests can indulge in Wicked-inspired treats crafted to capture the spirit of Oz.
In addition to these experiences, fans can look forward to a vast array of exclusive Wicked merchandise. The Shiz University collection will feature back-to-school items like Spirit Jerseys, duffle bags, tumblers, and more. Studio MinaLima has designed a cross-category collection of Wicked-inspired prints and graphics for apparel, accessories, and home goods. Fans can also expect fashion dolls from Mattel, Funko Pop! figures, LEGO sets, Loungefly bags, and cosplay replicas from The Noble Collection.
The excitement doesn’t stop there, as additional Wicked celebrations are set to arrive at Universal Studios Singapore and Universal Studios Japan later this year and into 2025.
