There have been multiple leaks before now, but Call of Duty and the developers have finally shared the first official look at Warzone, the upcoming battle royale that will be free-to-play and cross-platform. It’s going to be massive, and it starts tomorrow on March 10th.
The map of Verdansk will feature two modes for gamers to try out.
In Plunder, loot it all and secure the money. Race against other players to deposit the most Cash.
In Battle Royale, players will drop in, armor up, loot, and fight until the last man or squad is left standing. It’s a 150-player firefight that will be non-stop action, with vehicles and insane possibility.
Along with the typical Call of Duty Equipment, Field Upgrades, and Killstreaks, the Battle Royale mode will also feature the Gulag, which is a fight-to-the-death prison brawl that will have players face off 1v1 for the chance to respawn.
It’s been leaked. It’s been anticipated. And now it’s here. For more information, read the Activision blog here.
Will you be playing tomorrow? Again, it’s cross-platform, free-to-play, and free-for-everyone.
