Heavy metal music is part of the DNA in the DOOM series, and in anticipation of the March release date for DOOM Eternal, Bethesda has shared a behind-the-scenes look at composer Mick Gordon and his process for delivering a hellish and unparalleled auditory experience for gamers.
Gordon brought together an ensemble of vocalists with diverse backgrounds to contribute to the thumping new soundtrack. The heavy metal choir represents a broad spectrum of talent, and the composer is working to build on the success of the 2016 game, which won Best Music/Sound Design and Best Action Game at The Game Awards 2016.
The exciting footage only makes us want to play DOOM Eternal more, and we can’t wait until the game arrives on March 20th.
