Season nine of Konami's Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel’s ranked ladder is officially over and with it Season 10 has started. With Season 10 starting the new ban list that we have previously covered is now finally instated; which means Crystron Halquifibrax is gone! Aside from the ban list with the Season 10 update Master Duel has also added some more new extras that usually come with the end of a season.
A big update for season 10 is the addition of a new accessory duelmate Revendread Slayer. In addition, to accompany Revendread Slayer’s addition to the duelmate pool, there is also a new Vendred Gate in Solo Mode! Rewards for completing the Vendread gate include the usual icon and sleeves themed after the gate’s archetype, as well as the sweet, sweet 200 free gems for the last duel in the gate.
The next big part of the Season 10 update is the ability to craft banned cards for use in the recently implemented unlimited format. As banned cards were previously unobtainable in any packs or by crafting, now the ability for those who enjoy non-standard formats to finally make use of previously unavailable banned cards will be a great relief. Did you know Pot of Greed will draw you TWO cards?!?!
As the final part of the update, as with all new seasons, your position on the ranked ladder will drop to the Rank 5 of whatever division was one below where you ended Season 9. For those who don’t know yet, that means at the very least everyone can obtain at least 1000 gems by ranking up two divisions, more if you have more space to rank up; remember its 500 gems for going from Rank 5 gold to Rank 5 Platnium and so on.
Whether you are a regular player or a new one, now is a great time to dive into Master Duel. Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile.
