Fans of the comedy television series Community should be quite pleased with the recent release of the free-to-play early access FPS title, Six Season and a Game. The game was put together with love by a volunteer group of dedicated developers. It’s set in the show’s community college Greendale on yet another wild day of paintball. All of your favorite cast members make the cut as well as their Darkest Timeline counterparts.

The gameplay itself is quite cartoonishly goofy and as hectic as you’d expect it to be with beautiful colors and callbacks to the show. The illegal trampoline, the giant hand, the AC annex, the cafeteria, and of course, the study room. What finishes it off are the words being spoken over the speakers by a very well done Dean Pelton impression. It all comes together to bring the entire series to life again.

It’s a beautiful thing when folks put together a game just on love, and they did it very well. Even in its early access state, the game is very polished compared to others in the category. The combat is pretty smooth and satisfying. I love seeing my enemies turn into paint then disappear.

As far as what’s in store for the future of the game, their subreddit reads “The future is wide open, anything from additional game modes, other genres as well. We do not know what will happen with the project after release, we believe some will leave the development, others will take over and the game will take a new direction, we don't really know. I, for one, will want to start developing my Pillowtown VS. Blanketsburg Realtime Strategy game. We'll figure it out as more of you join in after release”.

This is a must-play for any fan of the series. I can’t recommend it enough. Give the game a try and if you like it, then pass on your opinion to others. This game can only grow with word of mouth from gamers and their reactions to it. You can currently pick up Six Seasons and a Game for free on Steam right now!
