8-Bit Attack is a board game from Petersen Games, a prolific games publisher that has produced hits like Cthulhu Wars and Glorantha: The Gods War.
The company has now announced the launch of 8-Bit Attack: The Video Game. The boardgame company partnered with Startale Games for the project, which was unlocked as a reward tier on Kickstarter when the board game was crowdfunding.
It’s available tomorrow, on July 15th, for PC via Steam.
8-Bit Attack: The Video Game is a turn-based tactics game. The player will command a group of heroes that come together from multiple fantasy universes in an effort to defend existence from evil. Sound familiar?
There are four types of levels that precede a boss fight, and players will have to use this time wisely to prepare by collecting better gear and upgrading their heroes. Each fight builds to the next, and only those who plan with cunning and strategy will be able to succeed.
