Asmodee Digital has announced the launch of Agricola: Revised Edition on PC via Steam and mobile.
The classic board game from Uwe Rosenberg has been a fan-favorite, so the digital adaptation is a welcome arrival that will have tabletop gamers hopping into the digital world to experience the original board game and all of the improvements that came with the revised edition in 2016.
With any digital adaptation, you’ll also be able to enjoy the benefits that come with a user interface and game mechanics designed to do all of the mathematics, processing, and score-keeping in the background. Not to mention online multiplayer, so whether it’s with your friends or with random players, you’ll always be able to enjoy Agricola.
The Euro-style, worker-placement game requires players to manage their resources as farmers. Working the land, harvesting crops, building new structures, and expanding their life with animals, families, and growing wealth are all important tasks in Agricola.
Whoever has the biggest and greatest farm at the end of the game wins.
Features of the digital adaptation include:
Strategic and economic gameplay adapted from the 2016 Revised Edition of acclaimed board game Agricola by Uwe Rosenberg
One to four players
Play in single-player mode against the computer
Play in multiplayer with your friends in local play or with other players online
Detailed step-by-step tutorial
As quarantine and shelter-in-place restrictions continue, digital board games are a great way to connect and play while staying safe at home.
