For years, fans have seen them in the opening cinematic of the arcade version of Street Fighter 2, but we've never known who they were until now. Reddit has uncovered a Capcom Japan page with the answers...

Looks like Max picked up a nasty scar after that shot to the face! I'm guessing the updated character models mean we'll likely see these guys appearing in Street Fighter V? No love for the alterate fighter seen in the Sega version unfortunately...
