Indie developer Bytten Studio and publisher Raw Fury have released Cassette Beasts for PC and PC Game Pass already. Now players can expect a console release! Cassette Beasts puts a unique spin on monster-collector RPG games. On the island of New Wirral, players will use cassette tapes to transform into strange creatures and battle! You can even get your mixtape on and combine two creatures together to make a more powerful form that shares stats, element types, and move sets!
Players will use their monsters abilities to explore a rich open world! You will use your abilities to solve puzzles, glide, fly, swim, dash, you name it! You will do it all as you explore the colorful land of 80s vibes while listening to a synthy soundtrack. While you explore the retro scenery and battle to your hearts desire you can lose yourself in a captivating story exploring how you even got to New Wirral. During your time on New Wirral you will meet a diverse cast of companions to fight along side you to make sure you are never battling alone! Or, you can team up with friends in a local couch co-op or Steam remote play for up to two players! For you PC players out there, you will be able to customize your experience with mods added by the Cassette Beasts in hopes to foster a creative community with tons of involvement!
Cassette Beasts will launch for consoles on May 25th and will be available for Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and will be available for Xbox Game Pass.
