Catch Up On All MORTAL KOMBAT 1 Trailers, Reveals, And Beta Dates!

The Mortal Kombat 1 release date is just over a month away, so you can expect people to be getting antsy and with each reveal and trailer it just makes the excitement and WOW factor grow. NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros Games have done a great job at constantly releasing new trailers to keep the talk going, they’ve been keeping on a schedule that works to keep the words Mortal Kombat relevant. Here are all of the reveals and trailers that have been released so far.

Gameplay Debut Trailer

This was the initial gameplay trailer that came after the teaser. It shows us some very exciting gameplay and introduces us to the story in snip-bits and it also shows us some of the characters that we will be seeing in the game. It showcased some brutal fatalities and we got the first look at Kameo Fighters. This also started all the speculations for characters that would be in the game, DLC, and story direction.

Lin Kuei Trailer

This trailer heavily focuses on the Mortal Kombat ninjas. We get an in-depth look at Scorpion and Sub-Zero, and we also get a reveal of another Ninja, Smoke. With some very well-cut action sequences relating to the story and gameplay with Kameo Fighter attacks that can be seen as “Fatal Blows” from Mortal Kombat 11. Then, of course, we get to see some more fatalities very closely resembling the classics.

Umgadi Trailer

Here we get a look at our new character Li Mei, an Umgadi warrior. The Umgadi are warrior priestesses that are chosen at birth to defend the royal family. But we find out that Li Mei was in charge of the Umgadi but the princess’s father was murdered. We get a look at some of the other female characters, a young Raiden, and the Tarkaten people including Baraka.

Kombat Pack 1 Trailer

This is the first official reveal of the Kombat Pack revealing future DLC characters. The characters introduced are Quan-Chi, Ermac, Takeda, Omni-Man, Peacemaker, and Homelander. A good mix of Mortal Kombat universe characters and guest fighters.

Keepers Of Time Trailer

The most recent trailer reveals Geras, returning from Mortal Kombat 11, seems to be taking on the same rule serving under the ruler of time, this time being Liu Kang. Geras is a defender of the hourglass, the hourglass that regulates time and destiny. Along with this reveal, we see some small interactions between Geras and Liu Kang where we get a little taste of the chaos that is destined to happen. We see some pushback from Geras showing that Liu Kang may not be ruling Earthrealm as just as he wants.

Pre-Order Beta Details

If you plan to pre-order Mortal Kombat 1, you will gain access to the Mortal Kombat 1 beta starting August 18th going to the 21st. During the beta, you will get access to Liu Kang, Sub-Zero, Kenshi, Johnny Cage, Li Mei, and Kitana. Along with those characters you will have access to Kano, Sonya Blade, Jax, and Frost as Kameo Fighters.

Mortal Kombat 1 will be available on September 19th for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. If you plan to pre-order Mortal Kombat 1, you will gain access to the Mortal Kombat 1 beta starting August 18th going to the 21st.
