With the big news that Tiny Roar and Assemble Entertainment’s Zelda-inspired title, XEL is releasing next summer comes some new game info as well! Above, you’ll find one of their latest dev blogs that highlights many of the game’s features and what makes it so special.
In this vibrant sci-fi action title, you play as Reid, who finds herself stranded on a mysterious planet with no memory of who she is. As she sets out to find herself again, players will find secrets, puzzles, and an unstable sense of time. It’s a beautifully-crafted world filled with dungeons and areas to explore as you try to uncover the truth about everything.
Of course, you’ll also meet a large cast of charming characters along Reid’s journey. You’ll also get the chance to engage in combat as well as upgrade and find various items across the game. Some even help Reid with time manipulation too.

XEL launches on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch in Summer 2022 with release to follow for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 in late 2022.
