As a popular developer of anime titles, CyberConnect2 stepped out of their comfort zone and published a title on their own. This game was Fuga: Melodies of Steel which was released in 2021 with a variety of positive reviews to follow its release. Now, the developer has posted a tweet on his personal Twitter stating that there will be a Fuga 2 and 3 coming!
Yup, we're making Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2.

Oh, and 3 too.
More info in July! ;)#FugaMelodiesofSteel #戦場のフーガ
While this is all the information we have on it, for now, it seems we can expect more to come in July. For now, the team is focusing on a 7-day donation event where all proceeds gained for Fuga: Melodies of Steel on all platforms will be sent to children in need due to the current ongoing global crisis. Here’s Hiroshi Matsuyama’s, CEO of CyberConnect2, statement on the donation event,
“I have given serious thought as to what can we, as a company, do in light of the current global situation. The game Fuga: Melodies of Steel produced and developed by our company is about children thrust into the midst of war, who then go forward in the hopes of being with their families once more. With this in heart and mind, we have decided to donate the sales proceeds of the game, along with delivering the message behind it, to children experiencing and suffering from war. We wish to help the children in any way we can, and we pray for a bright future where there is peace in the world and children can live and laugh freely.”
You can check out the full donation post here and it has links on where to buy Fuga for all platforms. If you are a fan of turn-based games with a good story, then now is the best time to check out the first title - especially since we know that there is more coming for the series!
