If you spent E3 2017 patiently waiting for Halo 6 news, you were probably frustrated by the fact that absolutely nothing was said about Xbox's biggest title of all time. Now, word is coming out about when we will hear about the next game in the series as 343 Industries Jeff Easterling talks about how it will be a long time until we see any Halo news.
"While there's little to nothing that can be said on that front, it's been made clear that we won't be talking about Halo's next major title for quite some time, and no, that doesn't mean Gamescom. Or PAX. Trust us, when we're ready to begin pulling back that proverbial curtain, you'll know. It won’t be soon."
So basically, you aren't going to be hearing anything this year. It does sound like 343 Studios will be making it obvious when they are going to start making some reveals, and it definitely doesn't sound like they're hanging up the franchise for good. Are you sad that there won't be a new entry in the franchise anytime soon?
