If you were looking to start off your 2022 year with a new game that has fast skill-based combat with RPG elements, then Third Sphere Game Studio has what you are looking for. This indie studio is about to release their title Watcher Chronicles for PC via Steam on January 19th and it will feature a local co-op multiplayer mode to play with a friend.
Purgatory has been invaded by an unholy threat. A group of fallen ones called “The Watchers” now seek to transform it into a new Hell. Lost souls must unite or face utter annihilation. Your penance has begun… Prepare to slice your way through enemies in a large, interconnected world. Use unique weapons or powerful magic and upgrade your character to defeat 20+ unique and challenging bosses.
Watcher Chronicles looks like it is going to be a challenging game with simplistic RPG mechanics. Gathering the best gear and weapons will only take you as far as your skills will lead you, but learning your enemies will be what clears the path.
