After a successful Early Access premier, Edge of Eternity is now available for purchase on PC.
Indie developer Midgar Studio and publisher Dear Villagers have released the full version of their JRPG on Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG for $29.99. The game is also slated to arrive later this year on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass. The developers are promising more than 50 hours of total playtime, with plenty of free updates expected to arrive in the year ahead.
The story takes place in the war-torn world of Heryon, a place of magic and strange beasts. The people of Heryon are engaged in a desperate battle against a mysterious plague known as The Corrosion, while simultaneously repelling an alien invasion. You control Daryon, a deserter soldier in search of finding a cure for a loved one. Battling robotic aliens and corrupted creatures, you must find a way to defeat this new threat.
The game makes use of turn-based battles, using the unique abilities of Daryon and his priestess sister Selene. Utilizing his soldier-trained combat skills and her mystical crystals, players must overcome dangerous and diverse creatures along their journey.
Edge of Eternity is looking like a promising JRPG, full of classic elements of the genre. Interested in learning more? Be sure to check out their PC Launch Trailer, or their Walkthrough Trailer for more details!
