Concord is PlayStations upcoming hero shooter that is set for release later this year on the PS5 and PC. People who have pre-ordered the game digitally will be able to play the game on the upcoming weekend, but Sony has now made it possible for anyone with a PlayStation Plus account to join in on the fun too.
According to a tweet by the official PlayStation account, when the beta access goes live on Friday, July 12th, PlayStation Plus users will also be able to play the beta without pre-ordering the game.
Concord was announced and revealed only a month ago, and while the game will cost $40 on launch and many people are skeptical of Sony’s ability to compete in what is an already packed market, many fans bring up Sony’s success with Helldivers 2 and Destiny 2.
Only time will tell whether the game will stand out like the rest or be left to dust on release.
