F1 2021 Is Now Available From CODEMASTERS And EA

F1 2021, Codemasters latest racing experience, hit consoles, and PC last week, officially releasing on July 16th, 2021. The game features all the updated content you’d expect, including all the “teams, drivers, and circuits for the 2021 FIA Formula One World Championship” alongside a story mode and Career Mode that features two-player racing.

The story mode will allow players to live out a simulation fantasy where they can rise through the ranks of Formula 2 in an effort to make it into a “coveted Formula 1 spot.” The game’s publisher, Codemasters, promises an experience that mirrors “real-life team dynamics and dramatic run-ins with other drivers on the grid.” The Career Mode will allow players to compete head-to-head or cooperate in team races against online opponents, and thanks to the Real-Season Start option they’ll be able to launch their career from “any race in the season that has already occurred.”

For current-generation consoles, F1 2021 will sport a variety of upgrades. Improved visuals and processing power will allow for realistic and immersive racing, from better textures on the car models to more authentic body and tire damage. Ray-tracing will also be possible during cinematics and the in-game photo mode. Framerates of over 60fps and improved loading times are also touted for those with “compatible hardware.”

Gamers can pick up F1 2021 today on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC (Steam).
