I know what you're all thinking. They're making another Five Nights at Freddy's? Well... yes and no. Scott Cawthon has decided to create something new out of the world of Five Nights at Freddy's. It's called Five Nights at Freddy's World, and apparently it's something completely different. It stars the cast of Five Nights at Freddy's as well as all their different incarnations. Scott has said that this game will not be a horror survival like his previous games, but rather an RPG type of game. Not a lot of details have been released as of yet, but many people are excited about it. I enjoyed the mythos that existed in FNAF, but I'm not sure it's enough to merit a whole RPG about it. The characters are not strong enough to create interest in my opinion, but I could be totally wrong.
He still plans on releasing updates to FNAF 4, coming out around Halloween, so keep your eyes peeled for that. Also a Five Nights at Freddy's movie is in the works as well, so they are gonna be busy for a while.
The Five Nights at Freddy's World game will be coming out in 2016 according to Scott. I'll be interested to see what comes of it and of course be willing to give it a try. It will be interesting to see if they create a new world with the characters or if it will follow the story that we are all so familiar with already.
