It looks like the Earth is in need of its heroes once more, or at least the battlegrounds in Fortnite do. Once again, Epic Games features Fortnite x Dragon Ball and returns many favorites from the initial collaboration while introducing a few new things, including two new characters - Gohan and Piccolo!
For starters, the Kamehameha attack item and Nimbus Cloud (Kintoun) mobility item are out of the vault,, plus the Dragon Ball Adventure Island is back. Throughout each match in Fortnite Battle Royale and Zero Build, the Kamehameha and Nimbus Cloud (Kintoun) items will fall from the sky in capsules from Capsule Corp. These two items will remain in Battle Royale and Zero Build until v23.40.
Made by creator team Vysena Studios, the Dragon Ball Adventure Island features iconic locations from the show to explore as well as the open PvP battle arena. Dragon Ball Adventure Island can be accessed from either the Discover screen or island code 5642-8525-5429.
As for what’s new, starting today at 9 AM ET, players can complete a Dragon Ball-themed Weekly Quest on this island to unlock the Orange Piccolo Spray. Then, starting February 7th at 9 AM ET, complete another Dragon Ball-themed Weekly Quest to unlock the Gohan Beast Spray! Players can also venture as Dragon Team members Son Gohan or Piccolo by visiting the shop and picking up their outfits and accessories.
