Over the weekend, a new update post came from the Friday the 13th: The Game forums mentioning offline bots, level cap increase, and some holiday specials, but what it didn't mention is that there will also be a brand new counselor that we can play as! Once your game updates on PS4 or Steam today, or soon for those on XB1, you can say hello to Shelly.
As great as new characters always are, lets not dim the lights on the updates announced in the forums. Offline bots is pretty much the closest thing we are going to get from the single player mode that we were promised awhile back. Now you can play against NPC's, instead of trolling players, and practice your stalking, murderous ways against counselors of your difficulty choice. You can also have any number of counselors in the offline mode, so it will be a rampage in any form of your choosing.
The new level cap is going to take the number from 101 all the way to 150, with rewards coming in this update and more promised for future updates. The lesser gift here is some new clothing colors for a few counselors, but the big note that I can't wait for, is two new grab kills that can be bought with CP, not cash!
Now for the holiday gifts: From December 18th to the 23rd, your chances of rolling a Rare and Epic perk will be increased. Then, from the 23rd until the 27th, your chances of finding both Pamela and Jarvis tapes will be increased. Also starting on the 23rd, but lasting until January 2nd, you will be earn double CP. Excluding when you level up, this is going to help you reach new levels and might even help some of you unlock the level 44 Jason that many still have yet to reach.
I guess when Gun Media does updates now, they are pretty massive, because this is quite a lot for one weekends worth of announcements! Which part of the update are you looking forward to most?
