Having been delayed from its initial release date in November of 2020, Cris Tales is now available for pre-order. Published by Modus Games and developed by Dreams Uncorporated and SYCK, the upcoming JRPG is set to release on July 20th, 2021.
Cris Tales is a JRPG seeking to pull together elements of past favorites like Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy, and modern hits like Persona 5 and Bravely Default. Its unique anime artwork and time-altering split-screen effect set it apart from other games in the genre.
Players will use the protagonist Crisbell’s abilities to move through time, controlling the past, present, and future. With her time-warping powers, she’ll aid and defend citizens throughout the kingdoms and battle their enemies. Unable to defeat the evil forces on her own, she’ll also rely on the support of allies throughout her journey.
The game has been highly anticipated since its reveal at E3 in 2019, where it won accolades and nominations. It was also recently nominated for Best Indie Game and Best RPG at Gamescom 2020.

Cris Tales is now available for digital pre-order across Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It will also be available to play on day one for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
