Giving us a gameplay trailer just before a game is released is definitely one way to grab people’s attention and build some excitement for your game. Maze Theory and Just Add Water have developed Doctor Who: The Edge of Reality as the next title in the series and their trailer shows a bit of promise. Maze Theory was behind Doctor Who: The Edge of Time VR game I had the opportunity to review and this looks to be an expanded version made for players without any virtual reality gear.
Even so, get ready to face Daleks, Cybermen, and Weeping Angels as you explore new worlds. You'll get to work with two Doctors (the 13th Doctor, voiced by Jodie Whittaker, and the 10th Doctor, voiced by David Tennant) on a story-driven adventure through space and time. They will need your help to solve puzzles and, ultimately, save the universe from an unstoppable new threat.
Doctor Who: The Edge of Reality is being published by the combined efforts of Maze Theory, Another Indie, and Neon Doctrine. It will be available on October 14th for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
