Gearbox Publishing’s and Counterplay Games showed off the first gameplay of Godfall today as part of the PS5 games event broadcast. Gameplay was captured using a PS5 development kit and looked stunning in motion. The trailer took the opportunity to showcase the world of Godfall, Aperion, alongside a number of different weapons and armors the players will be able to use. I have been looking forward to seeing more on Godfall ever since the teaser given to us at The Game Awards back in December. The faster-paced melee combat combined with looting mechanics is very intriguing to me as a sort of blend of Borderlands and For Honor. The armor sets shown so far also look really cool which will always be a plus. Godfall is scheduled to launch this holiday across PS5 and PC! What did you all think of this first gameplay tease?
