HALO INFINITE Plans To Make A Major Comeback With Latest Update

343 Industries is finally bringing the much anticipated Halo Infinite co-op campaign with the Winter Update coming this November. Not only that, but a ton of content is being pumped into the game and it is enough to get the fans hyped for an exceptional Halo season. Let's take a closer look at all the goodies in store for us on November 8th.

Along with the long overdue co-op campaign, players will also be able to experience the Forge mode in an open beta form. This is a major update for Halo Infinite and could very well breathe new life into the community for years to come. Forge mode will allow user-generated content to be easily accessed and available to the mainstream community. User-created maps and modes will be fully available at launch with a brand new Forge system that brings the biggest and best creator tools ever seen in a Halo game before.

With the ability to place 7,000 objects (which trumps Halo 5’s 1,600) this new and improved Forge mode is built to deliver insane user content on a whole new level that we have yet to see. Even though this new mode will essentially give us a constant supply of maps and modes to play, the main game is also receiving two brand-new multiplayer maps and a brand-new mode called Covert One-Flag. This new mode pits a team of attackers and defenders against one another. The attackers have unlimited Active Camo while the defenders have threat sensors to help spot invisible enemies.

New cosmetics and Battle Pass Tiers are expected in the update as well. But the largest requested feature is finally coming to fruition in this major update, match XP. Players will now be able to gain XP based on match performance in order to unlock their Battle Pass tiers more quickly. Only time will tell how well this system overhauls the unlocks in Halo Infinite but it is definitely a great start.

The Halo Infinite Winter Update will be available to download for free on November 8th.
