Horror Escape Room Game DO NOT OPEN Launching With Future VR Plans

A title that was originally announced to be a PlayStation exclusive has decided to include PC into their launch plans as they gear up their game launch schedule. Do Not Open was originally being developed by Quasar Interactive, but somewhere along development, it was taken over by Nox Noctis with the help of Gammera Nest and Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) Espana for publishing.

With the new teams at the helm, Do Not Open has officially launched on the PlayStation 5 and will be coming to PC via Steam on November 30th. Better yet, they are aiming to bring this game to virtual reality players on both the PlayStation VR2 and PC VR versions in 2023. A PlayStation 4 version is also planned for 2023. So, if you don’t want spoilers and want to play it in a more immersive fashion, you might want to hold out. Otherwise, it’s time to attempt to get out of the house alive!

This survival horror features escape room mechanics. Michael J. Goreng, the main character, is a well-known zoologist and epidemiologist trapped in a warped version of his house where his wife and daughter are missing. Mike will have to solve different puzzles to escape from a mysterious threat while dealing with paranormal activity.

Nox Noctis promises high replayability in Do Not Open stating that it will have different combinations and item places, along with different layers of the main stages of Judith's Manor. Even the plot and lore will be a puzzle by themselves, to discover the mystery that surrounds the house.
