Indie Action Game INFERNAX: DEUX OR DIE Update Release Date Announced

Indie developer Berserk Studio and publisher The Arcade Crew have just announced the new free multiplayer update for their successful indie action game Infernax. The new update Infernax: Deux Or Die will add a new playable character, simultaneous cooperative play, and dual warrior-swapping, demon-bashing action for single-player mode. In addition to the new update, the developers have released a new trailer for Infernax: Deux Or Die showcasing an uninterrupted look at how Infernax’s entire experience has been rebalanced for two heroes to tear through its hordes of demonic forces side by side. Players will also be able to see see how dual-character fights add a new dimension to Infernax’s combat system.

Infernax: Deux or Die introduces a new character named Cervul the Squire, a well-rounded fighter with deadly axe-throwing and tool-assisted combat skills. Cervul can grant advantages to both players with his attacks and buffs, unless he's steered down the dark path, which unlocks a more explosive playstyle with a focus on dealing damage.

In addition to Cervul, the update also includes co-op play in Infernax's fan-favorite gun mode, perfect for players who enjoy wielding maximum firepower against the game's monstrous beasts. This Contra-style homage is unlocked through the classic "Konami" code, and now features a redesigned starting screen that old-school players will find familiar. The dual-character fights add a new dimension to Infernax's previously existing combat system, offering players a chance to experience the game's gory central quest with a friend.

With Infernax's new multiplayer update, Berserk Studio and The Arcade Crew continue to deliver on their promise to keep Infernax fresh and exciting for players, offering a new experience that fans of the game won't want to miss.

Infernax is available now on PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Infernax: Deux or Die will release for PC and consoles on April 5th, and is also playable on PlayStation 5 via backward compatibility.
