The Kickstarter campaign for Lawyer Up is in the final stretch. Less than a week remains before the latest project from Rock Manor Games successfully ends its crowdfunding run.
And it’s been a strong performance for the asymmetrical card game. The funding goal of $14,000 was reached in less than two hours, and backers have now pledged ten times the original target.
If you’re unfamiliar with the game, Lawyer Up was designed and developed by Samuel W. Bailey and Mike Gnade. The two-player card-drafting game features the prosecution and the defense in a courtroom drama.
As players move through the Discovery phase and Trial phase, witnesses, evidence, and legal procedures are all manipulated in order to gain an advantage in the case. The lawyer with the best case and most convincing arguments will win.
It’s an exciting card game, and you can read the GameTyrant review of the game if you missed it.
