If you had a chance to play Deck Nine and Square Enix’s Life is Strange: True Colors, then like me, you’re absolutely excited for Life is Strange: Wavelengths, the all-new prequel DLC releasing next week. Debuting on September 30th, this new prequel chapter allows players to play as the fan-favorite character, Steph Gingrich during her entrance into Haven Springs.
One of the coolest parts about Wavelengths is the fact that it seems to be surrounded by some of the best times of the year. Pride Month, Halloween, and the holiday season. It’ll be so interesting to see how they dressed up the record shop to reflect these seasons and brought them to life in Haven. I’m also interested in seeing more of the RPG elements that were teased in the trailer.

Life is Strange: Wavelengths is available in the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of LiS: True Colors and launches on September 30th for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia, and PC. If you currently own a standard edition of True Colors, you can also upgrade via your current platform’s digital store.
