MONSTER ENERGY SUPERCROSS 5 Introduces An Injury System

As a show and series that can never get old for fans of motorbikes and adrenaline-fueled stunts, motocross continues to get more titles in its lineup. With tons of experience behind them already in creating motocross-based games, the developers at Milestone are ready to introduce something a bit new to the video game lineup. So, in Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame 5, they are introducing the injury system.

This time, mistakes and wipeouts will have a lasting effect on the player’s rider. This new Rider Shape System introduces career-impacting injuries, making botched jumps and misjudged turns more dangerous than ever. These effects will ultimately hinder their progress in the campaign and future races, so it will be important to have proper control of your bike.

For those that are looking forward to a new motocross title, you can pre-order this one today. It is available in both the standard and special editions. Pre-ordering alone will give you the game and both the Ice Blizzard and Fire Storm customization packs. But if you decide to get the special edition, you will all receive 3 days of early access and a Season Pass, which includes Credits Multiplayer, Legends Pack Vol. 1 & 2, U.S. Open Track, Neon Pack, and Allegiance Pack.

Monster Energy Supercross - The Official Videogame 5 is set to release on March 17th for PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. What do you think of the new injury system? Does it make you want the game more or less than before?
