Netflix has been targeting the gaming industry on ways of bringing some of our favorite games to their streaming service. It all started in 2017 with the debut of Castlevania, which recently released its third season with a fourth on the way. In recent months they have confirmed an anime set in the world of Cyberpunk 2077, titled “Cyberpunk 2077: Edgerunners”.

Most recently, they’ve announced an anime set in the world of the beloved RPG, Dragon’s Dogma. The series is simply titled Dragon’s Dogma, and will feature a new Arisen named Ethan. Not much info has been released, but there’s a brief snippet of the overall plot on Netflix’s website. It reads, “Ethan sets out to vanquish the Dragon that took his heart, but with every demon he battles, the more he loses his humanity”. There is no trailer as of yet, but it does have a release date. The series will be released on Netflix on September 17th, of this year.
