Alani, the first of five playable DLC Battleborn characters will be available May 25th. If you're good enough, you'll be able to get her "for free". Free, in the sense that you'll have to shell out around 45,000 in-game earned credits to get her, but free nonetheless. VG247 says season pass holders will be able to unlock the character immediately, and if they complete a challenge, will get the key back to unlock another character!
Furthermore, PS4 open beta players will receive a key just cuz...*weeps for Xbox One*.
Alani is said to be a fighting monk healer, which sounds game breaking and like it'll be nerfed, but we will see!
