New Branch Of YAKUZA Series And Mainline Title With LIKE A DRAGON 8

During the RGG 2022 Summit on the 14th of September, SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios announced a number of upcoming titles due for release within the next two years. Alongside the immediate is the surprise release of Judgment and Lost Judgment onto the Steam platform, the announcements line up the oncoming Like a Dragon titles available in the next two years.

First is the western release of the samurai epic Like a Dragon: Ishin!, which will hit the shelves on February the 21st, 2023. Set in the 1860s, it follows a lone samurai on a quest for justice.

Later in the year fans can expect, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name launches later in 2023. The action-adventure bridges the gap between the events of Yakuza 6: The Song Of Life, and the upcoming Like A Dragon 8.

Like A Dragon 8 is scheduled for a release date sometime in 2024, and despite dropping the Yakuza from the title, this turn-based RPG will be the next in the mainline Yakuza series.

In good news for anyone who has not gotten hold of a current-gen console. All the titles are currently set to be available for previous-gen consoles too, with releases planned for Playstation 5, Playstation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
