New Netflix Series LOCKE & KEY Based On Graphic Novels

Locke & Key is best-selling series of graphic novels written by Joe Hill, and it’s now debuting as a Netflix original on February 7th, 2020.

The story follows three siblings who, after the murder of their father, move to Keyhouse, the family’s ancestral home. The New England mansion holds many secrets, however, and it possesses magical keys that unlock magical gateways and powers. Fantastic doors are hidden throughout Keyhouse, and these portals will transform those that pass through.

But the children are not alone. An ancient and evil creature dwells in the mansion, and it will not stop until it opens the one door that should remain shut.

The trailer for Locke & Key looks exciting. The show has established actors and relative newcomers, so it will be interesting to see how the characters develop over the course of the series. There are six volumes in the original series, so there is a lot of material to build the series if it gains traction on the streaming platform.
