Newcastle smashes his way into Apex Legends: Saviors this week as the newest playable hero! As a protector of the weak, Newcastle has an extremely defensive playstyle that gives players the ability to support their teammates, with abilities designed around deflecting incoming bullets, pushing the enemy in an offensive onslaught, and fleeing safely from a losing battle. Newcastle's specific abilities set him apart from other heroes quite drastically. His passive ability, Retrieve the Wounded allows him to activate a shield that appears when he revives and pulls an ally to safety, protecting himself and the downed friendly. Another key ability is his Ultimate, Castle Wall, which puts down a massive fortress wall that acts as a defensive barricade between players and their enemies.
