The cool dudes over at NODE got their hands on a demo kit for HTC's upcoming VIVE VR Headset. The unique aspect HTC is bringing to the world of VR is their intuitive haptic feedback controllers. While obviously difficult to show in the video below, the controllers give a sense of resistance when the player uses them to interact with the virtual world around them. In the case of the video below, it gives the illusion of holding a bow and pulling back on the string. I'd love to get a feel for this myself and see just how immersive it truly is.
