Optic Gaming is arguably the best eSports team out there, dominating in every game they play with nearly undefeatable rosters and bringing their A-game to every event they go to. Their Gears of War roster has a close to unblemished record, winning 13/15 games and coming out on top at every event in both seasons of the Gears Pro Circuit. The Boston Open this last Sunday was no different. Optic ran through the competition hitting each team they played against with a 2-0. Winning the Boston Open pushed their overall winnings to a grand total of over $1,000,000.
In an interview with team captain “Xplosive”, while giving credit to individual players for gun skill, he claims that the teams as a whole come nowhere near Optic's level of play.
