This afternoon PlayStation revealed the official Call of Duty: Black Ops III Edition PS4. While I'm not particularly a fan of Activision's flagship title (mainly because I suck so hard at first person shooters), I have to admit that this new PlayStation looks rad as hell! I've appreciated all the limited editions of the PS4 and XBOX One we've seen. I'd probably appreciate them more if I didn't buy my PS4 at launch, but at least I get to admire them behind shiny glass cases at gaming conventions!
This PS4 features the Call of Duty: Black Ops III ember orange logo on a Jet Black chassis, complete with colored power and eject buttons, as well as three emblems on the front each representing a game mode — the SOG Skull signifies campaign, the Winslow Accord faction logo is pulled straight from the game’s fiction, representing one of the factions you play in multiplayer, and “the mark” denotes zombies.
This limited edition will also be the first in North America to feature the larger 1 TB hard drive, as well as being bundled with a copy of the game and the NUK3TOWN multiplayer map download. The bundle will sell for $449.99 ($549.99 CAD for our friends up north) and will be available on launch day for Call of Duty: Black Ops III. (November 6th)
