Portable Low Latency Chat With HORIZON ANC WIRELESS EARPHONES

Electronics giant Monoprice have released a new addition to the Bluetooth earbud market, that comes with a nod towards gamers.

While it’s easy to associate gaming only with chunky, wired-up headsets, the Horizon ANC Wireless Earphones set out to do it all, while being able to fit in the average pocket. Rather than needing to switch up to get onto chat, the Horizons aims to be enough to move from one activity to another seamlessly.

For listening to music, the earphones have 13mm drivers for better bass response, and the Qualcomm QCC3040 Bluetooth chipset, which includes the Adaptive aptX audio codec. The Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation feature uses the external mics to offset noises in your surroundings, and improve the overall listening in loud areas.

This noise cancellation feature carries over into voice chatting functions, with Qualcomm cVc 8.0 Echo Cancelling and Noise Suppression working to zero in on only the caller’s voice in conversations.

Gamers can make use of its low latency mode, to reduce the amount of lag between you speaking and the rest of the chat getting the message. This is something that can prove fairly crucial when things get tight in online matches.

In addition, the earphones are water and sweat-resistant, meaning that going to the gym or getting caught in the rain aren’t things to worry too much about.

The Horizon ANC Wireless Earphones are available via the Monoprice website.
