Good news for all you power wash fans out there, surprise indie hit from FuturLab, Powerwash Simulator will receive a physical boxed edition that will be arriving on shelves in stores worldwide. Working with publishers Square Enix, FuturLab has come far with their initially small casual cleaning adventure through the strange and dirty city of Muckingham. The upcoming boxed edition is available for pre-order now and will release on June 13, 2023.
For anyone unfamiliar, Powerwash Simulator lets players wash away their worries with the soothing sounds of high-pressure water. Players will build their washing business up as they travel across the sometimes strange and bizarre dirty city of Muckingham, but above all, Powerwash Simulator focuses on player relaxation and escapism.
Players can expect lots of new cleaning options to become available in PowerWash Simulator as time goes on. The current team has lots of plans for new content coming down the pipeline. But currently, the new ’Muckingham Files’ (Update 1.2) will be coming to Powerwash Simulator on April 18th. In the new update, players will be able to clean dust from the desert off a Solar Water Plant and a huge Satellite Dish. It’s down to you to dust off all that sand, for a satisfyingly sparkly finish. After that players will be able to clean up a filthy food truck that is spoiling the view of the local park. In addition to all the new jobs to try out the devs have updated the lore drops in previous jobs to bring them more in line with the game’s overarching story as well as future updates.
Powerwash Simulator is available now on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch digitally. The new boxed edition will be available on all via download code as well.
