Lunar Software's ROUTINE Makes A Re-Return Almost 10 Years Later

9 years after its first announcement in 2013, Raw Fury and Lunar Software’s sci-fi horror title, ROUTINE has finally seen the light of day again. During the first day of Summer Game Fest viewers were treated to a brand new trailer for the title, showing off its atmospherically designed corridors and the dangers lurking throughout them.

Taking place during the 1980s, this title boasts the look and sound of that iconic decade. Judging by the trailer alone it seems that the game’s composer, Mick Gordon (Doom, Prey, Wolfenstein: The New Order) really soaks the game in that perfect ‘80s sound to make you feel like you’re really there.

Raw Fury CEO Jonas Antonson said of ROUTINE: “Like many others, I have been waiting for this game for a long time. Originally, I thought I’d just get to experience it as a gamer and a fan. But then the developers decided to team up with us! I’m beyond excited to go on this amazing journey with them.”

This title has seen a face-lift as Lunar Software has redeveloped this game from the ground up since its first reveal. Taking place on an abandoned space station, players will traverse a massive place filled with decrepit malls and living quarters all while trying to uncover the secret to its current state. This isn’t just an exploration title though as it will offer players a haunting and isolated setting, with mysterious dangers around every corner.

ROUTINE will be coming to PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox Game Pass.
